Job summary

Scottsdale Unified School District is seeking an Instructional Support Paraeducator Level D at Pima Day School in Scottsdale, AZ. You will assist certified teachers, adapt curriculum, monitor progress, and support tests and behavior documentation.

Responsibilities include tutoring, supervising students, preparing materials, grading, and participating in trainings. Requires a high school diploma or GED and relevant schooling or clerical experience; DPS FPCC and First Aid/CPR eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and one year of educational or clerical experience.
• Licensing requirements include FPCC, First Aid and CPR eligibility within 30 days of employment.
• Knowledge of basic first aid, customer service, and computer operations.

Responsibilities

• Assists teacher with classroom instruction and modifications.
• Provides one-on-one or group tutoring.
• Monitors behavior and escorts students on campus.
• Assists with cleanup and preparation of activities and materials.
• Assists with grading and recordkeeping in computer systems.
• Attends trainings and meetings and participates in testing students.
