Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of educational or clerical experience preferred.
• Licensing: DPS FPCC may be required.
• Knowledge of basic first aid, basic math, and customer service principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher with classroom instruction and adapt materials for students.
• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring as needed.
• Monitor student behavior inside and outside the classroom.
• Assist with grading and preparation of assignments and materials.
• Attend in-service trainings and meetings; update student information in applicable programs.
• Maintain classroom bulletin boards, displays, and supplies; contact parents as needed.
