Job summary

Washington County Public Schools' InnovatED Learning Center is seeking a Paraprofessional Special Education Itinerant Adult Support. You will support students with IEPs, reinforce academic and behavioral goals, and document progress under supervision.

Position details: 7 hours per day, 10-month year, starting hourly rate $19.26 with potential raises up to $34.84 on the ESP Salary Scale, plus a 10% program differential. Reports to the BCBA Coordinator and may relocate within the center as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Highly Qualified status per state rules.
• Ability to attain CPI certification and maintain it.

Responsibilities

• Support individual students and small groups to reinforce skills.
• Document and monitor student behaviors for progress.</
• Record data for progress monitoring and reports.
• Assist teacher with strategies to reinforce skills.
• Supervise and manage students during activities.
• Respond to behavior crises with de-escalation and safety.
• Assist with personal care and mobility as needed.
• Follow through on individual programs designed by the teacher.
