Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• Experience working with children from Preschool through 8th grade or experience working with a specified age group for which they plan to sub.
• Ability to utilize educational technology & curriculum, and navigate Google Workspace apps (Gmail, Calendar, Drive).
• Familiarity with copiers, printers, document cameras, and presentation screens.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children of all ages and manage groups effectively.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with the St. George’s community.
• Growth mindset and flexibility to adjust to students’ needs.
• Ability and willingness to complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Replace regular teacher and follow curriculum and lesson plans.
• Maintain classroom culture and routines as designed by the lead teacher.
• Collaborate with teaching teams to support student progress.
• Supervise students in and out of the classroom; ensure safety.
• Take attendance and report behavioral concerns as needed.
