Description
The Substitute Teacher position fulfills the role of replacing a permanent classroom teacher during their absence and provides the same instructional and learning environment for the students as if the lead teacher were present. The Substitute can fulfill this role in Early Childhood, Lower School, Middle School, and Resource, or they can specify the age levels and/or divisions they are most equipped to support. This position requires someone who is flexible, patient, organized, warm, energetic and works well with children. The Substitute Teacher may be booked for coverage in advance or the day-of, depending on current needs across the school, and our Substitute Coordinators or Division Directors would be the point of contact when arranging coverage needs.
