Job summary

Cosmo is looking for dedicated tutors for their 1:1 online learning platform. This independent contractor position offers a flexible schedule where you can teach K-12 students personalized lessons in math, ELA, and SAT prep. Successful candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree, 3 years of teaching experience, and the ability to commit for at least 6 months. Compensation is $20 USD per class with additional incentives, creating an exciting and empowering environment for both tutors and students.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in math.
• Experience with K-12 Math standards.
• Fast and reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC with a minimum CPU of 6000.
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months of teaching with Cosmo 1:1.
• Available between 3-10 PM EST Monday through Friday or during the weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
