Job summary

Cosmo is seeking tutors for their online learning platform connecting K-12 students with educational support. In this independent contractor position, you will provide personalized lessons and engage with students in a fun and welcoming environment. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree, three years of teaching experience, and experience with K-12 math standards. A reliable internet connection and commitment to a minimum of 20 hours per week are essential, along with availability from 3-10 PM EST during the week or on weekends.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in math.
• Experience with K-12 Math standards required.
• Teaching license preferred but not required.
• Fast and reliable internet connection.
• Access to a Windows or Mac PC with minimum CPU of 6000.
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months.
• Available between 3-10 PM EST Monday through Friday or weekends.
• Minimum of 20 hours of availability per week.
• Access to a private and quiet location.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction.
• Update availability in the Cosmo App timely.
• Prepare lesson materials for student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students professionally.
• Attend all classes on time.
