Job summary

MTM, Inc. is seeking a Mobility Assessment Evaluator to review ADA paratransit applications, conduct in-person interviews, and perform functional assessments to determine eligibility. The role requires evaluating information from multiple sources, including applications and professional verifications, and communicating final determinations to the Client.

The position is based in the Boston, MA office. Must have a bachelor’s or associate degree in related fields and relevant certifications;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Rehabilitation, Ancillary Health Care Professions, or related field.
• Certifications: PT, OT, PTA, COTA, or Recreation Therapy Specialist.
• 3+ years of professional experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Experience with ADA regulations and sensitivity to people with disabilities and older adults.
• Experience with functional assessment of individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Determine final eligibility based on application, interview, functional assessment and any supplemental information.
• Conduct in-person interviews to assess mobility capabilities and review supplemental information.
• Determine required functional assessments for each applicant.
• Provide written eligibility determinations to Client within required time frames.
• Read ADA applications, intake forms, and professional verification forms.
• Maintain documentation and applicant tracking logs for MTM and Client.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities; assist leadership as needed.
• Build rapport with MTM and Client personnel and ensure high-quality service.
