Job summary

Pierce Transit, an independent municipal organization, seeks an ADA Eligibility Analyst to review applications and assessments for paratransit eligibility in accordance with ADA requirements and Pierce Transit policies.

You will interpret results, communicate determinations clearly, and provide information about alternative transportation options when appropriate. The role requires strong analytical skills, discretion, and professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience working with people with disabilities or senior citizens.

Responsibilities

• Review ADA eligibility applications and determine eligibility per ADA regulations and Pierce Transit policy.
• Document and review information gathered from applicants, caregivers, and professionals during screening.
• Inform applicants of eligibility decisions and the appeal process.
• Assist with preparation of narratives and statistical reports on eligibility trends.
• Represent the agency at ADA eligibility appeal hearings and public forums.
