Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK is seeking a dedicated LPN for Acute Rehab on a full-time days schedule. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care in a collaborative environment within a 229‑bed acute care hospital.

The LPN will work under a registered nurse, participate in care planning, and perform focused assessments and data collection to monitor patient progress. A current OK LPN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Current LPN license in Oklahoma.
• BLS (current upon hire).
• Venipuncture skills required.
• One year of full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting preferred.
• De-escalation training (SECURE) completed within 6 months of hire.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the modification of the plan of care by collaborating with other members of the multidisciplinary team with consideration of the developmental needs of the patient.
• Participates in the evaluation of the patient’s response to interventions based upon predicted outcome.
• Reassesses the patient as defined in the Nursing Standards of Care Policy and modifies the plan of care as needed.
• Contributes to the assessment of the patient by conducting focused assessments of the patient.
• Collects data and compares the data collected to the patient’s previous condition and documents/reports as appropriate.
