MUSC Health is seeking a Therapeutic Assistant to work under RN supervision in a 36-hour weekly day shift at our Psychiatric Addictions IP unit. The role involves assisting with admission, discharge, and daily living activities while ensuring patient safety and adherence to the treatment plan.

The position emphasizes teamwork within a multidisciplinary program and requires appropriate education or experience in behavioral health, with BLS certification within 2 weeks of hire.

Qualifikationen

• Therapeutic Assistant I - High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Therapeutic Assistant II - Bachelor's degree in Human Services or closely related field, or high school diploma and 1 year of experience in behavioral health or related healthcare required.

Aufgaben

• Provide patient care as directed by the multidisciplinary treatment plan and daily assignment sheet.
• Assist with patient admission and discharge processes.
• Monitor and promote the safety of the therapeutic environment; support activities of daily living.
