Qualifications

• PTA temporary licensure and licensure within 6 months may be required.
• Current state licensure or eligibility as a PTA.
• CPR (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans under supervising PT.
• Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and activities.
• Monitor and document progress; communicate updates to PT.
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate documentation per hospital standards.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
