BayCare's Winter Haven Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist Pool/PRN to support high-acuity programs in a fast-paced, acute care environment.

You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and independence. Collaboration with the care team is essential to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed PT with active licensure; licensure within 6 months considered.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Preferred 1 year of physical therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other therapists to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and post-discharge recommendations.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

BayCare is currently in search of a highly skilled and adaptable Physical Therapist Pool/PRN to join our dynamic team within a hospital-based, multi-disciplinary environment. This role supportshigh-acuity specialty programs, including but not limited toneurology, cardiopulmonary, oncology, trauma, and complex medical-surgical populations. Acute Physical Therapist Pool/PRN Responsibilities:
