Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care on the 8th floor Med/Surg unit. The role emphasizes nursing process using technology and evidence-based practice, with coordination across the care team to optimize outcomes.

The unit handles a diverse patient population including sepsis, diabetes, cardiac, respiratory and post-surgical cases. Relocation bonus may be offered where applicable. Students and new grads encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• ASN/ADN RN must obtain BSN within four years of hire unless 15+ years RN experience in acute care.
• RNs employed at specific facilities with ASN/ADN may be exempt from BSN requirement.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Oversee care by LPNs/CNAs and participate in clinical conferences.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
