Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, Colorado is seeking a Registered Nurse on the 8 Med/Surg floor to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.

The unit treats diverse medical and surgical patients, with teamwork among nurses, LPNs and CNAs; opportunities exist for charge nurse roles and preceptorship. A relocation bonus may be offered and a comprehensive benefits package applies.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• RN with ASN/ADN must complete a BSN within four years from hire unless exempted by extensive RN experience.
• Certain hospital affiliations may provide exemptions from the BSN requirement.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with other health team members and ensure documentation.
• Oversee care by LPNs/CNAs; participate in clinical team conferences; follow guidelines.
