Job summary

Viper Staffing Services L.L.C. seeks an MRI Technologist, Acute, onsite, to operate MRI scanners and deliver high-quality diagnostic images in an acute care radiology setting.

You will ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate image acquisition, with a strong foundation in medical imaging and equipment operation. The ideal candidate will have ARRT or equivalent certification and a commitment to compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MRI and related imaging modalities (CT, DEXA, sonography) and vascular access.
• Knowledge of PACS workflows and image archiving.
• Experience in acute care imaging and patient positioning.
• Ability to follow radiation safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and related imaging equipment for diagnostic quality.
• Prepare patients, explain the procedure, and position for scans.
• Maintain safety and aseptic techniques during procedures.
• Document procedures in PACS with accurate records.
• Collaborate with radiologists to determine imaging protocols.
• Assist with related imaging (CT, DEXA, sonography) when needed.
• Support training of new staff and students.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards.
