Novant Health is seeking an MRI Technologist II - Acute to perform high-quality MRI exams in a fast-paced hospital setting. This role focuses on patient preparation, safe operation of MRI equipment, adherence to imaging protocols, and accurate image acquisition for diagnosis.

The technologist collaborates with radiologists, nurses, and providers to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, support quality and throughput goals, and educate patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI exams with attention to image quality and safety.
• Prepare patients for imaging and ensure comfort throughout the procedure.
• Safely operate MRI equipment and follow imaging protocols.
• Acquire accurate images for diagnostic purposes.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses and providers for patient care.
• Support quality, safety and throughput goals within the imaging department.
• Educate patients and families about the imaging process.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in imaging practices.
