Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI examinations for acute and hospitalized patients, ensuring high-quality, safe imaging according to protocols.

The role requires an associate degree and ARRT MRI certification, with preference for 1–2 years of MRI or acute-care imaging experience and familiarity with critically ill patients. On-site position in Payson, AZ with healthcare team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology or related field required.
• 1–2 years of MRI or acute-care imaging experience preferred.
• Experience working with critically ill or hospitalized patients is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols and physician orders.
• Screen patients for MRI safety, implants, contraindications, and relevant medical history.
• Position and monitor patients appropriately throughout MRI procedures.
• Operate MRI equipment and adjust imaging parameters to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Administer contrast agents when required and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Follow MRI safety, radiation/imaging, infection control, and patient privacy standards.
• Communicate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals and maintain accurate examination documentation.

Education

Education & Experience:

Licenses & Certifications:

ARRT certification in MRI or equivalent MRI credential required.

State radiologic technologist license required where applicable.

BLS certification required.

MRI safety training/certification preferred.
