Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide clinical direction in an acute inpatient setting within the Facility Resource Pool at Baptist Hospital. The role emphasizes patient/family centered care and adherence to safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements.

You may float to various units as needed and could be scheduled for weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts. Licensure as an RN in SC and an Associate degree are required; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical direction in acute inpatient care following nursing process.
• Perform nursing assessments, plan care with patient/family, and document changes.
• Develop and update care plans with interdisciplinary team.
• Set measurable discharge goals and coordinate transitions of care.
• Deliver direct patient care within RN scope and plan.
• Monitor quality of care and participate in performance improvement activities.
