Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Ohio seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse for Inpatient Services under the Clinical Advancement Program. You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for an assigned group of patients in dialysis settings.

Responsibilities include data collection pre/during/post treatment, education for patient and family, coordinating with the dialysis team, and documentation of responses to treatments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in all states of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing duties under supervision and guidance from Educator, Preceptor, or RN.
• Collects and analyzes patient data pre/during/post treatment; adjusts care plan as indicated and documents in medical record.
• Educates patients and families about learning needs and care.
• Directs and provides safe patient care for assigned patients per dialysis procedures.
• Documents patient responses to treatment and communicates adverse events to physician and team.
