Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Ohio seeks an entry level Registered Nurse in the Inpatient Services CAP program. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive nephrology care, patient assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients within the Fresenius Kidney Care network.

The RN will collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians, participate in education and quality improvement activities, and may provide instruction to hospital staff as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure in practicing state.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in all states of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessments, planning, interventions and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Document patient data and modify treatment plans as indicated.
• Provide patient/family education and teach back as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team and contracted facilities to ensure continuity of care.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
