Palmdale Regional Medical Center in Palmdale, CA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver diagnostic, evaluative and therapeutic services for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. You will provide evidence-based therapy under physician orders in an acute care setting.

The position requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, California state licensure (ASHA CCC or CFY under supervision acceptable) and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• California state licensure for speech-language pathology (ASHA CCC or CFY under supervision acceptable).
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic, evaluative and therapeutic procedures for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Deliver speech-language pathology services to patients as prescribed by licensed physicians.
• Assess swallowing disorders and plan appropriate therapy.
