Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center in Palmdale, CA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to diagnose, evaluate, and treat patients prescribed by a licensed physician.

You will provide speech and language treatments, assess swallow disorders, and analyze test results to determine therapy needs. Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active California licensure to practice speech-language pathology.
• Current BLS Certificate preferred.
• Experience in acute hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic, evaluative, and therapeutic speech-language treatments.
• Assess swallow disorders and determine therapy needs.
• Analyze test results to determine patients’ communicative abilities and therapy requirements.
• Work within a hospital setting under physician prescriptions.
