Southwest Health Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, CA, is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide expert evaluation and treatment of swallowing and communication disorders in acute-care settings. Qualified candidates will hold a Master’s or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology, California licensure

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational institution.
• California State Board of Medical Examiners license or a RPE/CFY applicant supervised by a licensed Speech Pathologist following State and ASHA guidelines.
• Current BLS certificate.
• ASHA CCC required for supervisor of graduate student or RPE/CFY applicant

Responsibilities

• Provide excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, and quality and efficient services.
• Develop and implement patient treatment programs for varying disabilities and medical problems.
• Assist clients with speech, language, or swallowing impairments and practice in accordance with regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies.
