Qualifications

• One or more years of post-high school education in medical records or related field.
• High school diploma/GED with relevant experience is acceptable.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process routine releases of health information in line with policy.
• Review health information using EHR tools and note deficiencies.
• Provide customer service to patients, vendors, staff via phone, email, and in person.
• Perform document imaging: scanning, QC, and validation to ensure correct EHR linkage.
• Review scanned documents to maintain EMR integrity and quality standards.
• Support basic transcription issues and portal enrollment; assist with dragon/voice apps.
• Work under supervision, applying regulations and hospital policies to daily tasks.
