Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for inpatient services to join the Clinical Advancement Program. You will provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the health care team across dialysis modalities in Charleston-area facilities.

The role requires RN licensure, nephrology nursing interest, and CPR/BLS certification, with CAP requirements to advance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in all states in which he or she is employed.

Responsabilités

• Performs duties under supervision with guidance from Educator or RN.
• Collects and analyzes patient data pre/during/post treatment and documents in the chart.
• Educates patients and families on care plans and procedures.
• Reports patient status changes to the health team for input.
• Directs and provides safe patient care for assigned patients per modality.
• Coordinates communication with dialysis providers and facility staff.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors responses.
• Participates in on-call rotation, night, weekend or holiday shifts.
