Job summary

UVA Health Culpeper Medical Center seeks a Clinical Professional Development Practitioner to lead nursing education and competency programs. The RN will design, implement, and evaluate educational activities aligned with organizational goals.

Requires BSN, MSN in education or related field within 3 years, Virginia RN licensure with BLS/ACLS or PALS, and strong communication and leadership skills for collaboration with nursing leaders.

Qualifications

• BSN required. Master’s degree in related field (nursing, education, or other clinical practice area) required within 3 years of hire.
• Minimum of three years of nursing practice. Minimum of two years of practice in specialty area or in clinical education.
• Licensure/Certification: Current, unencumbered licensure valid in the state of Virginia. AHA BLS Healthcare Provider and ACLS or PALS as appropriate for specialty. AHA BLS Healthcare Provider and ACLS certified instructor preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills including strong presentation and speaking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, planning, and problem-solving skills. Critical thinking and analytical skills.

• Designs, implements, and evaluates educational programs in alignment with organizational needs and vision.
