Job summary

UVA Community Health in Virginia is seeking a Registered Nurse - Critical Care. The RN will lead the healthcare team at UVA Health Northern VA Culpeper, building authentic relationships with patients and their support systems while collaborating with physicians to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate personalized care.

The role requires a nursing degree, RN licensure, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the applicable state is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• CPI certification within three months of hire for Behavioral Health, ED, and CSSO.
• Ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and use basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care.
• Establish authentic, personalized relationships with patients and their support systems.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members to implement care per policy.
• Document patient care and adhere to current policies and procedures.
• Assist in critical situations, including CPR.
