Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Master's degree in nursing, education, or related field within 3 years of hire.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing practice; 2 years in specialty area or clinical education.
• Current, unencumbered RN licensure in Virginia; BLS/ACLS or PALS per specialty; instructor cert preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, coordinates, and implements educational activities to promote staff competency.
• Designs learning outcomes based on identified gaps and organizational needs.
• Evaluates educational programs for impact on learners and patient outcomes.
• Mentors preceptors and supports onboarding and specialty orientation.
• Collaborates with nursing leaders to improve education and practice across the area.
