This position floats between Banner Family Pharmacy at Gateway Medical Center, Banner Family Pharmacy at Banner Baywood Medical Center, Banner Family Pharmacy at Banner Desert Medical Center, and Banner Family Pharmacy at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix, providing coverage for planned and unplanned staffing needs, including PTO, sick leave, and holiday coverage.
This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple pharmacy locations while supporting seamless operations and ensuring exceptional patient care.
This position will prepare, dispense, and compound medication under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Provide prescription support services for patients to ensure safe, appropriate, effective and efficient delivery of medication therapy. Provide excellent customer service skills, high attention to detail, strong problem solving, documentation and computer skills. Work closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to support pharmaceutical care activities, complete pharmacy billing activities, record keeping, reporting, inventory management, and arrange appropriate medication delivery.
May require periodic to frequent use of personal computer.
Off-site travel may be required.
