Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred in Office Management, Business, Healthcare Admin or related field.
• One year of staff scheduling experience required.
• Experience with automated scheduling platforms required.
• Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency required.
• Strong communication with hospital staff is essential.

Responsibilities

• Create, follow and maintain the master staffing schedule.
• Monitor census and staffing to ensure adequate coverage for each shift.
• Prepare daily and monthly staffing sheets and update as needed.
• Communicate schedules and changes to staff; approve or deny time-off requests.
• Schedule core shifts, overtime, training, and agency staffing as needed.
• Assist in timekeeping and payroll data accuracy; resolve payroll issues with HR.
