Job summary

Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide a comprehensive evaluation of cognitive, communication, and swallowing function and to deliver goal-oriented therapy to improve communication and swallowing outcomes. Requirements include a Master’s Degree meeting ASHA CCC-SLP standards, Nevada State License as a Certified Speech Pathologist, and current BLS.

1–2 years experience preferred; CFY progress acceptable.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from a university program satisfying the ASHA academic and intern requirements for the Certificate of Clinical Competence.
• One (1) to two (2) years experience preferred.
• Nevada State License as a Certified Speech Pathologist. ASHA CCC-SLP certification or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship year. Current BLS certification.
• Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
