Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in the State of New Jersey or Pennsylvania, based on work location.
• Master’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of Speech-Language Pathology in the Acute Care and prioritizes evaluations and interventions.
• Performs speech therapy evaluations with reliable methods relevant to patient history and chief complaint.
• Collaborates with patient and family to plan care based on clinical evaluation and goals.
• Identifies need for reevaluation based on progress or status.
• Provides timely communication to health care providers for discharge planning.
• Makes discharge recommendations based on impairments and functional outcomes.
