Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat individuals with voice, fluency, speech, language and swallowing disorders. You will document progress and communicate with patients, families and the rehab team.

The role requires CCC-SLP certification and PA/NJ licensure, with BLS/CPR certification within 30 days of hire. You will participate in quality improvement activities and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Doctoral or Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.
• CCC-SLP certification is required.
• Current PA or NJ license to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality care in evaluation and treatment of voice, fluency, speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Documents evaluation and treatment progress in accordance with professional guidelines.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, staff, physicians and referral sources.
• Participates in departmental programs, quality improvement and rehab team conferences.
• Maintains and upgrades clinical skills through continuing education activities.
