Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and develops individualized treatment plans for speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Supervises Speech-Language Pathology Assistants and staff as allowed by Arizona rules.
• Contributes to program development, quality improvement initiatives, and policy/procedure updates.
• Educates patients, families, and staff on communication strategies and swallowing safety.
