Job summary

Phoenix Specialty Hospital is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for adult and geriatric patients with communication, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders. You will perform MBSS/FEES as trained and develop individualized plans in collaboration with physicians and staff.

The role includes supervising SLPAs, contributing to program development, ensuring regulatory compliance, and pursuing continuing education and licensure

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Arizona SLP license and CCC-SLP certification.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients using standardized and non-standardized assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide speech-language pathology services to adults and geriatrics to improve communication, cognition, voice, and swallowing.
• Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants and support staff.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning.
• Contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Document timelines and maintain compliance with regulations and hospital policies.
