Job summary

Baylor Scott and White Institute for Rehabilitation in Temple, TX is seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the inpatient team on a PRN basis. Evaluates patients, develops and adjusts treatment plans, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to support functional return to the community.

Requirements include state licensure or eligibility, CCC in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA) and BLS certification (or completion within 90 days).

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA or eligibility for Certification.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and programs.
• Coordinate treatment program with other clinical services and resources.
• Develop comprehensive goals to maximize patient outcomes and return to community activities.
