Job summary

Baylor Scott and White Institute for Rehabilitation in Temple, TX seeks a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for inpatient PRN coverage. The clinician will evaluate patients, develop and adjust treatment plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote functional outcomes.

Requirements include current state licensure or eligibility, CCC or eligibility, and BLS certification. Compensation includes $60/hr, weekend rate $66/hr, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Current CCC in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA or eligibility for Certification pending.
• Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and programs.
• Coordinate treatment with other clinical services and resources to maximize outcomes.
• Develop comprehensive goals for patient treatment to maximize return to community activities.
