South Texas Health System Edinburg is seeking a Registered Nurse to manage patients under medical and surgical care, provide professional nursing leadership, and ensure patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital setting.

The role requires current Texas RN licensure (or compact state), BSN preferred, and BLS plus ACLS certifications as applicable. The RN must collaborate with the healthcare team and may work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed.

Formación

• RN licensure in Texas or compact state; temporary TX license acceptable while awaiting permanent license.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required if unit requires it; ongoing updates as per ARC/AHA.

Responsabilidades

• Manage patients admitted or seen for medical conditions or surgeries.
• Provide professional nursing leadership and guidance to the healthcare team.
• Ensure patient-centered care with assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and departments; participate in on-call, weekends, holidays as needed.
