Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in Texas or compact state or temporary Texas license while awaiting permanent license.
• BSN preferred; required or preferred certifications per unit needs.
• Current BLS and relevant AHA provider certifications; maintain current status.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Assess, plan, guide, and evaluate nursing care for admitted or seen patients.
• Ensure safe, competent nursing care in accordance with policies and philosophy.
• Interact with hospital staff and departments to resolve patient care concerns.
