Job summary

Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide safe, competent nursing care and to lead a healthcare team in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role emphasizes Patient Centered Care and ongoing service excellence.

The position requires a Nevada RN license, current BLS, ACLS (adults) and PALS/NRP as required by the department, plus either one year of acute care experience or completion of an approved specialty course.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/or equivalent.
• One year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS certification. Current ACLS certification (Adult patients). Current PALS certification (Pediatric patients) or current NRP certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
