Job summary

The Valley Health System (VHS) is seeking a qualified registered nurse to provide safe, compassionate care in a high-volume hospital setting. The nurse will lead and support the healthcare team, ensuring the patient-centered care philosophy is applied across shifts and departments.

The role requires an active Nevada RN license, current BLS; ACLS and PALS or NRP as required by department. BSN preferred and pre-employment assessments are required.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/ or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
