Job summary

MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for a 12-hour night shift. You will deliver safe, evidence-based care to patients with acute medical and surgical needs, coordinating with physicians, case management, and support staff.

The role requires an Iowa RN license, an associate degree in nursing, and BLS certification, with ACLS required if telemetry is used. Excellent critical thinking and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Iowa RN license current.
• BLS required; ACLS if telemetry.
• Proficient with computer systems and patient data entry.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and culturally competent care.
• Perform initial assessment within 30 minutes of arrival.
• Develop and implement outcome-based care plans.
• Collaborate with care team to coordinate discharge planning.
