Trinity Health seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) / Graduate Nurse for a 12-hour night shift in an acute care unit in Silver Spring, Maryland. This full-time role offers 36 hours weekly and benefits under Trinity Health. BSN preferred; nurses may train as graduates.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, administer medications, maintain records, educate patients and families, and participate in discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current Maryland RN license.
• BSN or MSN preferred; willing to train a graduate nurse.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency with electronic patient management systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient-centered care.
• Communicate variances from patient goals and advocate for patients.
• Maintain accurate and timely healthcare records.
• Administer medications and monitor for efficacy and side effects.
• Assess patient condition and report changes to the team.
• Design, implement and evaluate nursing care plans with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families throughout stay and for discharge.
