Job summary

Intermountain Health in Billings, Montana seeks a Registered Dietitian to deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy in acute care, with a clear path to Clinical Dietitian Specialist. This full-time role offers structured onboarding, hands-on nutrition support exposure, and mentorship as you grow.

Compensation includes competitive hourly pay and a $2,500 sign-on bonus or relocation assistance, plus a strong onboarding program and a collaborative, interdisciplinary team focused on optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or registration eligible.
If registered eligible after Jan 1, 2024, must complete a master’s degree by an accredited university.
Completion of an ACEND-accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics, Dietetic Internship, Coordinated Program, or graduate‑level program.
State licensure or certification required within 6 months of hire if applicable.
Clinical dietetics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to patients in acute care and specialized populations.
Apply the Nutrition Care Process to assess, diagnose, and manage complex nutrition needs.
Provide advanced nutrition counseling to support behavior change and outcomes.
Utilize nutrition tools to develop personalized care plans.
Support and mentor dietetic interns and new graduates.
