Job summary

Intermountain Health in Billings, MT is seeking a Clinical Dietitian / Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) in a full-time acute care hospital role. This position offers hands-on training, mentorship, and a clear path to Clinical Dietitian Specialist.

We provide a $2,500 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance, with a Monday–Friday day shift and minimal weekend work, in an environment that supports growth and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• For registration-eligible graduates, must pass RD exam within 6 months of hire.
• Master’s degree requirement for registration-eligible graduates (Jan 2024).
• State licensure or certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to patients in acute care and specialized populations.
• Apply the Nutrition Care Process to assess, diagnose, and manage complex nutrition needs.
• Provide advanced nutrition counseling to support behavior change and patient outcomes.
• Utilize nutrition tools and software to develop personalized care plans.
• Mentor dietetic interns and new graduate dietitians.
