Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or registration eligible.
• For registration eligible graduates after Jan 1, 2024, completion of a master’s degree by an accredited university.
• State licensure or certification in accordance with the primary state of practice requirement (obtain within 6 months).
• ACEND accredited program completed or equivalent.
• Clinical dietetics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) as an RD/RDN in acute care and specialized populations.
• Apply the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) to assess, diagnose, and manage complex nutrition needs.
• Provide advanced nutrition counseling to support behavior change and outcomes.
• Use clinical nutrition tools to develop personalized care plans.
• Mentor dietetic interns and new graduates in nutrition support.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based practices.
• Assist discharge planning and DME ordering as part of care continuum.
