Job summary
Intermountain Health in Billings, MT is seeking a Clinical Dietitian / Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) for a full-time acute care hospital role. Open to experienced hospital dietitians or new grads, with mentorship, nutrition support exposure (TPN, tube feeding), and a clear path to Clinical Dietitian Specialist.
Includes sign-on bonus and relocation assistance where applicable. Role offers a structured training program, involvement in NCP, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver
Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian with credentialing must be active or eligible.
- Master's degree in Dietetics or related field per program requirements.
- ACEND-accredited program completed; licensure/certification obtained within 6 months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to patients in acute care and specialized populations.
- Apply the Nutrition Care Process to assess, diagnose, and manage nutrition needs.
- Provide advanced nutrition counseling to support behavior change and improve outcomes.
- Utilize clinical nutrition tools to develop personalized care plans.
- Mentor interns and new graduate dietitians; support interdisciplinary teams.
- Assist with discharge planning and nutrition-related orders within scope of practice.
