Job summary

Phoenix Specialty Hospital is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to work in Mesa, AZ. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will provide patient care, perform therapeutic interventions, and document progress to improve mobility, balance, and function in adults and geriatric patients.

You will also educate patients and families, maintain accurate records, and participate in quality improvement initiatives while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Arizona PTA certificate or PT Compact privilege to practice in Arizona.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Perform therapy treatments per the Plan of Care, including therapeutic exercise and mobility training.
• Document treatment, patient responses, and progress in the medical record.
• Maintain a clean, safe treatment area and adhere to hospital policies.
