Job summary

Harris Regional Hospital is seeking an Acute Care Rehab Physical Therapist to join the team. You will perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, develop and execute individualized plans of care, and provide therapies to restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, and prevent dysfunction.

The role involves supervising PT assistants and ensuring effective communication. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, North Carolina licensure, and BLS within 30 days;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.
• North Carolina Physical Therapy License required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
• Establishes a plan of care based on identified problems and patient goals.
• Plans and carries out individually designed physical therapy programs to maintain, improve, or restore function.
• Performs therapy interventions using standard PT techniques appropriate for age and condition.
• Directs and supervises PT assistants, students, and other staff; delegates tasks and communicates effectively.
• Evaluates, fits, and adjusts prosthetic and orthotic devices; recommends modifications.
• Identifies and documents goals, progress, and reevaluation plans.
